There were/are some significant traffic backups on Pine Avenue.  Yesterday, January 27, 2015, the Holland Board of Public Works responded to a water main break that occurred along Pine Avenue just north of 7th Street. The break took out two of the three lanes of traffic on Pine.

As a component of the Community Energy Plan, the City of Holland has partnered with the Green Home Institute to provide a FREE energy inspection and energy performance label for up to 50 homes in the City of Holland. This $350 value is offered to residents of the city of Holland for no cost.

Together, the City of Holland and the Green Home Energy Institute are aiming to bring awareness to residents about energy efficiency in their homes and to learn of opportunities where they can increase efficiency.

To ensure that all of the City Neighborhoods are Neighborhoods of Choice and that no residents are forced to live next to criminal activity, the City of Holland requires all Landlords in the City of Holland to have a Crime Free Lease Addendum.  

The Addendum must specifically states that the landlord can evict tenants for criminal activities that take place at the rental unit.
